QUARTERLY FORUMS & NETWORKING

February 26, 2025
1-3 pm CST | 11-1 pm PST | 3-5 pm EST

Black History Month Forum: The Economic Impact of Black Americans

Join us for an enlightening and thought-provoking forum, The Economic Impact of Black Americans, where we explore the transformative contributions of Black Americans to the U.S. economy and the challenges they continue to face. This forum will highlight the historical and current economic achievements of the African diaspora, while addressing the barriers and opportunities that exist for further economic advancement.

The forum will feature an expert panel, including Dr. Bruce Corrie, an economist and researcher with extensive data-driven insights into Black economic contributions; Watchen Harris Bruce, a leading advocate for economic equity; Kenya McKnight-Ahad, an expert in Black entrepreneurship; and Tibebu Assefa, a successful entrepreneur focused on African immigrant business development. These panelists will share their perspectives on the economic resilience, innovation, and strategies needed to strengthen Black economic power.

This forum is a valuable opportunity for participants to connect, learn, and engage in meaningful discussions about advancing economic equity, creating opportunities, and fostering a more unified Black economic ecosystem.
